Authorized investors: occupational pension funds which are entered in the register of occupational pension schemes and can obtain full exemption from Japanese withholding taxes on dividends under the double taxation agreement between Switzerland and Japan.

Investments: the investment group generally invests in equities contained in the MSCI World Small Cap Index. The relative weightings of the companies are tilted toward their expected contribution to climate change. The objective is to overweight companies that contribute to the long-term transition to a low emissions global economy (and vice versa)

Convertible and warrant bonds: none.

The carbon profile of the portfolio is aligned with a net zero (1.5 degree) glide path targeting net zero by 2050.

The expected ex-post tracking error is approximately 1%. The maximum ex-ante tracking error target value is less than 2%.*

Currency exposure: largely hedged against CHF in line with the benchmark

Securities lending: not permitted.

Use of derivatives: permitted under BVV2.

Japan and US dividends: exempted from withholding tax in each case.
