Philippe Spielhofer is Co-Head FIM Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Prior to his current role, he led GWM Advisory & Sales North Asia for five years, overseeing product sales, investment advisory, wealth planning, family advisory, and client services. From 2015 to 2020 he served as the Operating Head for GWM Investment Products & Solutions APAC, and from 2016 to 2017 he held the additional role of Local Product Head China. He joined UBS in 2011 to support the creation of integrated client coverage across business divisions in APAC for top accounts at group level.
Prior to joining UBS, Philippe held various leadership positions at Credit Suisse SAʴı in Greater China and Korea. Before coming to Asia in 2007, he worked in Corporate-, Institutional- and SAʴıing roles in Switzerland.
Currently, Philippe also serves as a board member of UBS (China) Ltd., UBS’s whole owned China domestic bank, and as a member of UBS Hong Kong pension trustee’s investment advisory board. He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Durham, United Kingdom.
